Interested applicants who may wish to apply for admission into APUDI Institute for Peace Studies and Social Rehabilitation (APIS) postgraduate programmes should visit the Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) admission portal for that year for application. Note that admission is offered in every semester of the academic year. The programmes are advertised alongside other faculties and departments from the office of the registrar at the Nasarawa State University, Keffi.

1.1 Eligibility for Admission
To be admitted into APUDI Institute for Peace Studies and Social Rehabilitation (APIS) programme, the applicant is required to meet at least one of the following academic requirements:
(a) Ph.D
Applicant who may wish to apply for Ph.D programme should possess Five Ordinary Level Credits (O/L) including English Language and Mathematics. The Applicant must have completed a Master Degree with not less than 3.50 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) on a 5-point Scale.
(b) Masters
Applicant who may wish to apply for Master’s programme should possess Five Ordinary Level Credits (O/L) including English Language and Mathematics. The Applicants should also have First Degree with not less than Second Class Lower Division or PGD in relevant discipline from a University recognized by the Senate of Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
(c) Postgraduate Dipolma (PGD)
Applicant who may wish to apply for the Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) should possess Five Ordinary Level Credits (O/L) including English Language and Mathematics. Applicants with Third Class/Pass in any field are allowed to apply for any programme in APIS. Also holders of Higher National Diploma (HND) with Lower Credit may equally apply.
1.2 Recommendation for Admission
After the application process, the postgraduate school collates all the applicants’ names and forward to their respective department of their choice of programme. It is the department that screen the list of names forwarded to them and make recommendation to the postgraduate school to offer admission to the applicants. Admission letters are released only when the post-graduate school is satisfied with the recommendations from the department. In essence therefore, it is the postgraduate school of Nasarawa State University, Keffi that does the admission of all candidates for postgraduate programme.
1.3 Registration and Documentation
Prospective students are expected to have fulfilled all the necessary requirements for gaining admission into Nasarawa State University, Keffi before registering with the Institute. Student should ensure that they have the minimum qualification of five O’level subjects including Maths and English, first degree or its equivalent for the postgraduate programmes.
During process of registration and documentation, students who successfully gain admission are expected to provide original copies of their credentials (for citing) and other documents as may be required by the Institute. Filings of documents are paramount in every academic institution. Therefore, as a student of APIS, one is expected to complete his/her student file records and ensure that all information needed therein is provided.
