APIS–NSUK Leadership Course Participants Visit NIPSS Kuru as Part of Six-Day Study Tour

As part of its ongoing leadership development initiative, participants of the Course 05 Leadership Training organized by the APUDI Institute for Peace and Social Rehabilitation (APIS) in collaboration with Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), visited the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, on 11th November 2024.

The visit formed a key component of the six-day study tour held in Jos, Plateau State, aimed at exposing participants to institutions playing strategic roles in national development, leadership training, and policy formulation.

During the visit, participants were received by officials of NIPSS, who gave an overview of the Institute’s mandate, operations, and contributions to national policy and strategic planning. The interactive session provided an opportunity for the leadership trainees to gain firsthand insights into how national policies are developed, analyzed, and implemented at the highest levels.

The engagement at NIPSS is in line with the broader theme of the course:
“Human Development for Leadership and Intellectual Property Investment in Nigeria: Challenges and Prospects.”

Participants described the experience as eye-opening and inspiring, further solidifying their understanding of institutional leadership and strategic governance in Nigeria.

The study tour continues with other activities and institutional engagements scheduled across key locations in Jos.
