The Director of APUDI Institute for Peace Studies and Social Rehabilitation (APIS), a subsidiary of the African Peace Institute and Social Research, Prof Danladi Abok Atu alongside other officials of the institute were at the Nassarawa State University Keffi where they met with the Vice-Chancellor and Management of the University to sign an Affiliation Agreement with the University on Postgraduate programs in the Area of Peace and Security Studies.
The engagement was Prof Atu’s first assignment as the APIS Director after he was appointed the Secretary to the Government of the State (SGS) Plateau from 2019 to 2023.
In a remark, the APIS Director appreciated the Vice Chancellor and Management of NSUK for accepting to collaborate with APIS, He further pledged that APIS would work by the terms of the Affiliation Agreement and other academic regulations of the University so that the overall aims and objectives would be achieved.
In an earlier remark, the Vice Chancellor of NSUK, Prof. Suleiman Mohammed welcomed the APIS Director and his Team to the Nassarawa State University Keffi, the VC further commended the commitment of the APIS Director, Prof. Danladi Atu in maintaining high-level scholarship at the Institute. Prof. Suleiman further assured that NSUK would faithfully keep to the terms and principles of the Affiliation Agreement as it is being done with other Affiliated Institutes.
At the end of the engagement, the following courses were approved, and adverts were placed on the official University website and other print media.
