SCHOOL OF POSTGRADUATE STUDIES (SPGS) NASARAWA STATE UNIVERSITY KEFFI – APUDI INSTITUTE FOR PEACE STUDIES AND SOCIAL REHABILITATION (APIS) 2022/2023 END OF COURSE WORK DINNER/AWARD NIGHT

The School of Postgraduate Studies (SPGS) at Nasarawa State University (NSUK), in collaboration with the APUDI Institute for Peace Studies and Social Rehabilitation (APIS), celebrated its 2022/2023 cohort with an End of Course Work Dinner and Award Night. The event took place on Saturday, 13th July 2024, at Nuhu Musa Hall, Maitama Sule Street, Asokoro, Abuja.

This prestigious event honored postgraduate students from various programs, including Social Work, Public Policy and Governance, Social Statistics, Security and Strategic Studies, Peace Education and Conflict Management, Criminology and Community Security Studies, NGO and Development Studies, and Anti-Corruption Studies.

Distinguished guests in attendance included Dr. Hamza Al-Mustapha, President of APUDI Group, and Prof. Danladi Abok Atu, Director-General of APIS. Also present were management and staff from both NSUK and APIS, alongside the celebrated 2022/2023 postgraduate students.

In his goodwill message, Dr. Hamza Al-Mustapha congratulated the students on the successful completion of their coursework, describing it as a significant milestone in their academic journey. He urged them to apply the knowledge gained from their research to contribute to national development. Dr. Al-Mustapha also praised the NSUK and APIS faculty for their dedication to fostering research that addresses contemporary social issues.

The evening featured several goodwill messages from various individuals and groups. A highlight of the event was the presentation of awards, including an Award of Excellence to Prof. Danladi Abok Atu, in recognition of his resilience, consistency, and dedication to academic excellence.
